Request for Hardware Rendering
Request for Hardware Processing
You do not need to be the manufacturer of the hardware to make a request but it helps. Requests for Hardware support are separated from the JBlade issue tracking system because the decision to include hardware is heavily influenced by commercial issues.
Requests for hardware rendering are simpler for JBlade to accommodate and more likely to be approved. Access to the physical hardware is not necessary. JBlade releases a new database of hardware renderers four times a year.
